Henry Kimambo
Henry is one of the founders of Kamitei and is a member of the board of Kamitei in Tanzania. Henry has a MBA degree from Mzumbe University, Morogoro, Tanzania. He holds a management position in the tourism industry in Tanzania.

Jeroen Harderwijk
Jeroen is one of the founders of Kamitei and is a member of the boards of Kamitei in Tanzania and The Netherlands. Jeroen lives in Tanzania and as an entrepreneur, he is currently managing a leading local eco-tourism company. He previously worked for ABN AMRO in the Netherlands.

Jane Harderwijk-Ngwatu
Jane is one of the founders of Kamitei and is member of the board of Kamitei in Tanzania. Jane, who is married to Jeroen, is responsible for the individual scholarships program.

Didas Kavishe
Didas is a teacher by profession and has been teaching at St Jude’s primary school for several years before returning to college in 2007 for advanced studies in education. Didas joined Kamitei early 2006 and is currently the driving force behind the on-site teacher training and coaching at the 7 primary schools that Kamitei supports.

Tito Ngwatu
Tito Ngwatu has a degree with the technical College in Arusha and has been involved with Kamitei since 2007. His primary involvement is double-checking quality and costings of construction work.

Caroline Schraa
Caroline is a secondary school teacher by profession and has done assignments on various schools in Tanzania since she took residence here in 2003. Caroline joined Kamitei in 2005, helping with the set-up and organization of the teacher training workshops which are now a great success.

Meyasi
Meyasi is a teacher at St Jude’s primary school. Meyasi joined Kamitei early 2006, together with Didas, and has been involved with the teacher trainings since then.  He has built a reputation at the Kamitei-sponsored primary schools for his very involving and entertaining teaching style (which is great as Tanzanian teachers typically struggle with this).

Thijs Hagoort
Thijs is member of the Board of Kamitei in The Netherlands. Thijs has a background in international finance and currently lives and works in Amsterdam.

Machiel Papousek
Member of the Board of Kamitei. Machiel lives near Amsterdam, the Netherlands and works for ABN AMRO Capital Partners, the private equity business of Dutch bank ABN AMRO.

Jasja and Bettina Zuidmeer
Responsible for production and design of all Kamitei media expressions (including this website). Jasja and Bettina, brother and sister, both work for reputed media firms in the Netherlands.
