Private sponsors
Kamitei receives a substantial part of its funding from private donors. Kamitei's ability to operate effectively and efficiently achieve its goals significantly benefits from this recurring income stream.

Institutional and corporate sponsors
Kamitei also obtains financial support from institutional and corporate donors. Given the expertise that such organisations have in critically reviewing and selecting promising projects, this support provides a powerful validation of Kamitei's approach. Our key institutional donors currently are:
- Global Fund for Children (GFC). GFC is a Washington-based charity that strives to improve the lives of children by, among others, making grants to small community-based organizations that aim to improve education for children who otherwise would be left behind. GFC is active in more than 25 countries. (www.globalfundforchildren.org).
- Turing Foundation. Turing Foundation is a private charity based in the Netherlands and aims, amongst others, to enable and facilitate education for children around the world.(www.turingfoundation.org).
- Fondation Les Pacquerettes (FLP). FLP is an international charity with Dutch roots that strives to improve the lives of children.
- Snickers-De Bruyn Stichting. Snickers-De Bruyn Stichting is a Dutch charity that provides direct financial support for projects aimed at improving education and health of youths.
